Gateway Guest House is conveniently situated on the Benoni "the city of lakes" and Kempton Park border, and only 10 minutes from Johannesburg International Airport. This popular, purpose-built bed and breakfast guest house offers secure, pleasant and affordable accommodation.
We offer 6 twin bedded rooms and 3 double bedded rooms. We also offer 3 large family rooms, each room can accommodate five people. All rooms have bathrooms en-suite, televisions, tea and coffee making facilities. Our dining room serves breakfast, lunch and dinner as required. Barbecues and other outdoor meals can be arranged.
We are located close to two major highways, giving easy access to Johannesburg, only 20 minutes away and Pretoria a mere 25 minutes away. For the shopper we are close to 3 large shopping malls, all of which contain many shops, cinemas, restaurants and night clubs. Other facilities available locally include: Golf courses, bowls, sailing and power boat clubs, horse riding, health clubs and bird watching. We are also close to the John Barrable Sports Hall.

Neat and tidy rooms. The host is friendly and most accommodating. Unfortunately, the night we did not have hot water to shower, however the next morning the water was hot.
A great experience, could not ask not for more. The host was great, thank you so much. This is home away from home.

What an awesome place...Brian and Diane are awesome... Being our first time to S.A of course we get lost... it's dark we aint got no gps, no contact number because in our excitement to leave i didnt write it down... we finally arrive about 9ish.. gates shut (thank God there is a number on the front)we call, brian answers, lets us in waits till we are settled diane comes introduces herself then bids us goodnight... perfectly kouta about us rocking up late... we slept like logs totally knocked out just sweet quietness! Breakfast was divine, being a family of 8 the kids were in heaven! hehehehe... plenty of grass to run around on,pool to swim in, just beautiful... we are definitely staying there again!!! hopefully it's not booked out because we plan to stay next month bringing with us friends too!! Oops just a thank you to the staff top marks on housekeeping we always came back to our rooms and it would always be spotless & fresh... Perfect...
My family and I had a fantastic week's holiday at Gateway en route to Monateng Safari Camp.
The hospitality shown by Brian and his wife together with his dedication towards making our holiday a success was service beyond the expected.
Your patience on waiting for us aboard a 3 hour delayed flight and your zeal on assisting us when we checked out with missing luggage was way above the expected.
The sparkling rooms that you offered my big family and the well catered breakfast are highly recommended.
Thanks so much. We shall recommend Gateway guest house to many of our acquaintances in Uganda....we do not mind staying again and again at the guest house as my kids miss the evening sprints they enjoyed on your large lawn.
