Hilltop Hideaway is a lovely self-catering house, situated on a hill overlooking the beach and village of Umdloti. The house has spectacular sea views, and is close to various amenities, shops, and restaurants.
Hilltop Hideaway accommodates 4 guests in 2 bedrooms each with a queen-size bed and sea views, and the bedrooms share 1 bathroom. Furthermore the house consists of a kitchen, dining room and lounge.
The kitchen is equipped for self-catering and features a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, a gas stove and oven, microwave, and cutlery/crockery. The dining room contains a round 6-seater dining table and chairs. The lounge features a 50" flat-screen TV with uncapped wi fi, Netflix, DSTV and opens onto a covered patio with outdoor furniture, a braai area and sea views. The patio leads out to a garden with a lovely thatched gazebo that overlooks the sea.
The beach is protected by shark nets with professional lifeguards. This part of the dolphin coast is a great place to watch dolphins and whales from your front lawn.

We had a lovely time at Hilltop hideaway. The view of the sea is so special and we loved the grass area which was ideal for our little dog to run on. It was an overall good experience staying there.

Umdloti has very conveniently located magnificent stretches of pristine golden beaches with shark nets, clear water, large safe tidal pool, delightful paved walks beside the sea and outstanding restaurants like Mundo Vida with sea views. Simple open air changing rooms like those seen on European beaches would be an improvement.
