La Rose Guesthouse was originally built as a spacious family home and only recently renovated as a guesthouse.
The house has a home-away-from-home ambiance with all the conveniences you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

What a gem in Douglas... everything we needed for our overnight stay on route to Upington. Amanda is an an excellent host. The Peaceful Room was just that...next time around I will definitely be in the large pool.

The safety and it is a great town to get out of Johannesburg.
Tarred town roads. Lots of interesting places to visit. Clean. The Vaal River. The best way to travel there is via the tarred road from Kimberley.
Gletservloere, river confluence, people are friendly, great town.
