Wonderful and secluded cottage (Witkruis). Really enjoyed the solitude and the hot-tub.
Booking etc. went very well.
Got there and on switching on the fan, the electricity was off. The thunder of the previous evening knocked out electricity supply.
This was the best thing that could've happened. We sat in the hotTub until after midnight, watching the stars and shooting stars.
This was the only host that allowed us to stay for only one night over the weekend. I had the impression the other two I tried before, was still open, but was hoping for a 2 night booking.
There was back-up power for the Wifi - impressive!
I shall definitely go again, but I'm bombing Eskom first! (JOKE!)
Only real negative was mossies, but the host can't do anything about that. In the end downloaded an Anti-Mosquito App from Google Play store, which kinda kept them at bay.
Ons het gebraai, maar daar is gasstoof en die warm water is ook op gas.
My wife and i enjoyed the stay in general. However they should provide a way of removing your trash free of charge especially if you stay 3 nights and longer. Kettle was broken was replaced next day.
