Everything was perfect. Loved the little cottage. Long walks and best of all was having my dog Roger with me.
Really great place for dogs and humans alike. Beautiful hike and loved Kiepersol. Bit of a walk up to some of the cottages (like they warn you on the website) if you don't have a 4x4. But not bad at all if you are average fitness. Will absolutely come back. Great value for money too.
We loved our stay. As professionals and the fact the most people work from home it would have been nice to have Wifi connectivity and and also smart TV for people to stream so that longer bookings could be booked, otherwise great.
What a beautiful place to be. My son enjoyed the walking routes an me and my dog also walked everyday. The chalets well equip. I was a little disappointed in Kiewiet as the kitchen does not look like on the photos and too close to the neighbor, but totally fell in love with Piet my vrou. It is a very well layout and with a lot of windows. Visitors must really look at the dogs for ticks when they walk. I found ticks on us and although we left I still get ticks on my dog. Chris and Annetjie you have done well with your place.
The stay at Saamrus was nice especially that it catered for our small dog. Only negative was the power outages we encountered that led to a water shortage. The walking trials are awesome especially the river section.
Wonderful and peaceful! Staff was very helpfull!
Kiewiet Cottage was exceptionally clean and the farm was a lovely place for the dogs to run around. The walk along the river is very nice. The hand basin in bathroom was loose and the security gate couldn't be locked. Not as quiet as I expected as traffic could still be heard at night.
Excellent accommodation. Beautiful views. Peaceful.
Wonderful places to walk. Very private and a great place to escape for the weekend.
Magical 6 days. Such peace and tranquility. So very sad to leave. Will be back.

Magaliesburg Reviews
Magaliesberg is great to get close to local Joburg nature, relax and rejuvenate from daily stresses of city life and work.
It's is a beautiful place and a short travelling distance from Johannesburg or Pretoria.
The beauty and tranquillity of the area.
scenery peaceful quiet time to get away especially if you a couple n need a break from the hasel and busel
Mountains and Hikes are spectacular
Close, with quiet places to stay as well as the basic ammenities.
Beautiful magical, with so much to do.
Going to the upside-down house
Travel by day prevents being surprised by potholes, so pack in some patience when heading this way. Magaliesburg's Little Roadhouse had friendly service and fabulous slap chips. The Route 66 Events held at Mt Grace Hotel were most enjoyable. Looking forward to our next visit.
