This is best value, cleanest camp I have ever used, very safe, quiet, tranquility, most awesome settings,. I will return this time And stay longer!!
The stay was excellent!!! In the bush!!!!! With luxury staying!!!
Will do it again!!!!
Absolutely relaxing. Nature all around, the atmosphere was just relaxing and quiet. We stayed at the camping site with the kitchen and outdoor shower, with a river view. Everything was so clean and neat.
Very friendly owners! Very helpful and always there if you need anything.
Swimming pool is a great plus, we enjoyed a few swims in the hot afternoons. They do have a shop and a bar. If you need any ice, or something to drink, you can buy it there. The shop has some wood, fire lighters, toiletries, some food necessities and a few other artsy things, really nice shop.
The hiking trail has great views. At night you can see so many stars with the clear sky.
The roads to Nthakeni is gravel road, but manageable with a sudan, preferably high clearance vehicle would be best.
Campsite was nicely shaded with the trees, kitchen, bathroom and garden was kept neat each day of our stay by friendly staff, never saw them, just came back to a clean campsite every day.
Our hosts, Kobus and Annelise were extremely gracious and helpful. The site was spotless, the rooms perfect to enjoy that bush feeling, great swimming pool and super river walks and birding. Would happily return when visiting northern KNP.
What a lovely restful stay the family had, lots for the kiddies and adults to explore. Was a great getaway and the campsites are very well thought-out. It was a great change to be able to have a kitchen and all the utensils, without having to take them with.

Crooke's corner, Pafuri picnic area and the road parallel to the border gate road. Parfuri River Camp.
Quiet, friendly, helpful staff who are happy to converse. By far the best gate.
