Reviews
We enjoyed our stay at Old Transvaal Inn a lot. Our room was clean and Cosy with a nice fireplace. Thank you to our host who supplied us with firewood and all the extras. We can definitely recommend the Old Transvaal Inn.
Overall comfortable and easy stay. Rooms clean and as advertised. Picturesque buildings and pretty gardens and much to see and do inside the inn with many little specialty shops for the young and older. Unfortunately the restaurant ownership had changed and despite the old menu still up on their website what we expected in terms of that menu was no longer available. We ended up going to many of the other restaurants in Dullstroom. The Transvaal Inn is a reminder of days of old and should not be missed.
Great place to stop overnight!!
Very Nice and neat for the price you pay.
Unfortunately our stay over was very noisy.
On arrival friendly staff showed us to our room ,Everything was tidy and clean , We had a good stay over ,very nice room with fire place . We will gladly recommend Old Transvaal Inn to stay over.
Arrived late at night and the security helped me with arrangements to get into my unit with no problems. Breakfast was great that was included.
Fire place is nice to keep warm after a night out.
It was a good clean room. I forgot my coffee at the counter with entering, so remember to take it. Everything in place, just take an extra blanket in wintertime. It is a very beautiful place and I will stay there again.

Beautiful town with the loveliest shops. It's a Highlands destination in South Africa.
It's a little gem, where most is homemade and authentic. People are very humble, artistic and kind.
Always the best shops and best little restaurants
