Area Information:Flamingo Holiday Apartments are situated on the Elephant Coast in the heart of the exquisite St Lucia World Heritage Site, South Africa's first natural World Heritage site. St Lucia is nestled between Lake St Lucia and the Indian Ocean in South Africa. Lake St Lucia is the largest Estuarine system in the world. With its lakes, lagoons, freshwater swamps and grasslands, St. Lucia supports more species of animal than the better known parks and deltas in Southern Africa. This extensive 85km lake is an average depth of 1 meter and home to thousands of crocodiles, hippo, birds, fish. The Hluhluwe / imfolozi Game Reserve is home to the big 5 and numerous other wildlife and is the oldest Game Reserve in Africa. Eastern Shores and Cape Vidal will give you the opportunity to snorkel amongst the limited tropical reefs and explore the life-rich tidal pools.

What about a night drive to view turtles with dinner served on the beach? a visit our famous crocodile centre and snake park? or let us organize you a round of golf, a game of tennis or squash at our nearby Monzi Country Club or take a long walk on our golden beaches. Unfortunately only spent one night, but they made key arrangements for us as we only arrived late that night. Rooms were very clean. Everything one might need for a self-catering stay. I would be happy to go back again.
A wonderful relaxing family weekend at The Flamingo holiday Flats. The accomodation is well equipped and comfortable. Very good facilities for the price paid. I would recommend this great value stay to Families, couples or solo travelers.

We went to St Lucia Villa Mia 5 to recover after operation. Absolutely beautiful place. Our own private braai area right at pool. Due to my medical condition we could not go out but our hosts arranged food delivery for us from nearly all the restaurants in St Lucia. One night there was guests that were intoxicated and loud. We informed our hosts who in return got the caretaker at the property in minutes and he resolved the issue. Will definitely book again. Thanks to the workers at Villa Mia that were always willing to run and get us something we needed in town. It felt like home and we will always remember our trip. Next time we will definitely visit all the attractions that St Lucia has to offer.
