The property is much larger and prettier in real life, than in the photo's. This is an ideal location close to the Crocodile river, where most animals can be seen. Trudi was very helpful with extra information to help us with our stay. The fact that everything was newly decorated and clean and tidy and the animals walking on the property was wonderful. To go to sleep with the sound of the lions roaring, the hippos and the elephants was truly amazing. We saw hippo's, crocodiles, elephants, zebra's, buffaloes, warthogs, girraffe's, meerkat's, kudu's, monkeys lots of other deer and even a lion either on the property or on the banks of the crocodile river ( across from the house). A truly lovely place - the photo's does not do it justice...

Best weekend ever.
Was a really great experience at Rhinos Rest, the host's of Rhinos Rest was very nice, and told us about all the happenings in the area, so that we can have the full experience of the bush veld. We have seen lots of elephants on the river bank that is just a walk from the house. There was also zebra's coming to the house. We really liked it a lot at Rhinos Rest, especially our friends from the USA. At night we heard lions roaring and hyenas in the distance.

"A beautifully decorated house overlooking the Kruger Park, right on the Crocodile River. Morning and evening there were animal visits, since there are no fences in Marloth Park. Trudy and Colin are gracious hosts, if we plan to stay in Marloth Park again we will certainly stay with them again. The house is fully furnished, enough for 6 people (kitchen with dishwasher) and there is the possibility to grill outside. In the evening you can sit well on the balcony above and hear the lions and hippos. The only downside from our side would be that Upper bedroom is open to the bottom and also has an open bathroom. But that is a matter of opinion and should not be overestimated. Since we were only four was not a problem as there are two more bedrooms and normal bathrooms. We look forward to the next visit."

"Best spot in Marloth Park. Amazing views and game viewing was 5 stars. The house is luxurious and comfortable. AC, unlimited free wifi, and plenty space all round. The family had a superb time. Can't rate this place highly enough...!"

"Breathtaking paradise. Wonderful location and the house is very spacious and clean. Rooms are comfortable. Hosts are outstanding. Loved being so in touch with nature and close to the animals. Highlight was hearing the sound of the river, and animal sounds at night, particularly the lions roaring. The viewing deck is outstanding"

Beautiful setting within easy walking distance of the river where we saw elephant and hippos. Ostrich, kudu and other buck roam freely within a few meters of the house. Fully equipped kitchen (no stove, but good microwave ), 3 bedrooms, 2 fully private with separate bathrooms, main room in loft open to downstairs living area. Lovely viewing deck to cool off on after a long hot day!! Shops and restaurants close to accommodation if required.
Hosts were so kind and willing to assist in any way needed.
