Riverside Manor is nestled at the foothills of the Drakensberg/Kamberg region. 12 kilometers from Mooi River and 7 kilometers from Nottingham Road on the R103. The property offers 20 beds in upmarket Self-Catering accommodation all at reasonable overnight rates.

In Room Facilities:

The up-market Self-Catering accommodation on the property is offered at very reasonable rates. The homes are tastefully furnished with antiques and both Family flats have all the required furnishings to make your stay comfortable. Towels, linen and bedding are of a high standard and all beds are fitted with electric blankets for the cold winter nights.

Area Information:

Rosetta is one of those little villages that, until recently, would have been relegated to a passing glance as you drove through it, on the way to elsewhere. Originally the area was dominated by the Rosetta Farm, granted by the Crown in 1861, and the village possibly resulted from the colonial farm pioneering boom that took place at the time in Natal.

Property Facilities:

Custom Fireplaces and braai facilities are installed in the Homes and the Family Units have built in Braai facilities indoors.

The property and buildings are well secured and alarm systems are installed and functional if required. Undercover parking is available, but limited.
DSTV is available in the homes but not in the family flats. There is a pool on the property, however this is under the ownership of tenants of the Manor Lodge, other units need to request use of the pool. The pool is closed for winter, 1st of May to 1st September.

Attractions:

Fishing, birding, riverside picnics or touring the Midlands Meander are a few of the activities on offer.

Very pleasant, peaceful and quiet although the river was flooded. Still had an awesome weekend thank you to the host. Everything was supplied and everything was neat and tidy, looking for another weekend away.

Steven our friendly host accommodated us an extra night over the Easter long weekend. We had a pleasant stay, the backpackers facilities are really great, clean & absolutely tidy. Communal kitchen/dining area great set up with fridge, freezer, microwave ovens, built in braai. We loaned the crockery & utensils as we did not bring some along. So it was sufficient for our 2 night stay. We stayed in a unit that had its own shower & toilet. Room had bunk beds and we really slept comfortably for the two of us. (4 bunk bed room), we supplied our own bedding & towels. The resort is lovely & clean. Hubby caught some brown trout on the farm dam so he was in his element. we will definitely be staying here again in the future.
