Enjo Guest farm is a 200-year-old working farm with traditional thatched Cape Dutch style self-catering cottages and spacious campsites that are situated along our seasonal river. Each cottage is private and secluded and comes fully equipped with an indoor fireplace, outside braai and seating area, and beautiful mountain and river views. Our campsites are spacious with lovely big trees that are perfect for the summer months.
In Room Facilities:Each self-catering cottage is fully equipped with linens, towels, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, kettle, toaster, microwave as well as braai grid and tongs. We provide dish liquid, dish cloths, salt and pepper, and Biedouw Valley Rooibos hand soap in the bathroom. Cottages also have an indoor fireplace, ceiling fan above the bed, and an outdoor braai with seating area. Firewood is available to purchase from the main house where there is also a small farm shop selling essentials such as ice, snacks, and cold drinks. Electric mains power supplies our cottages, while shower and hot water is heated by solar power. Tap water comes from a mountain spring and is suitable to drink. Campsites have their own water and electrical connection, fire pit and shared communal ablutions. The only cottage which does not have mains electricity is The Lonely Planet as it is 100% off grid with solar-powered lights, fridge, and hot water.
Area Information:Enjo Guest Farm is located in the Biedouw Valley, Cederberg, 65km from the farming town of Clanwilliam. It is approx. 3 hours’ drive from Cape Town. Our farm is situated far from the main tourist tracks and the valley is known for its magnificent spring wildflower bloom from July- September. Our seasonal river is the spawning ground for the Clanwilliam Sandfish – South Africa’s most threatened freshwater migratory fish, and Enjo is one of the local farms working with conservationists to save the species. If coming from Cape Town, there is 25km of sand road to reach us once you turn off the tar road. The condition of the sand road varies throughout the year, and it can be driven with a standard 2x4 car such as a VW polo, provided you allow more time to reach us. Please check the road conditions with us before you travel. There is no cell reception in the area and signal tends to go about 30km before you reach us. There is fast reliable WiFi available for all guests on the farm.
Property Facilities:Hiking and walking trails, swimming pool, swimming reservoir with sun loungers, farm dam, seasonal river, camping, barbecue & picnic site, star gazing, kayaking, pool table, laundry wash & fold service, free WiFi, kids playground, small farm shop with basics and firewood for sale. We accept card payments. Pet policy applies, neutered dogs only, contact us for more information.
Attractions:Nearby attractions: Historic Wupperthal mission village with its traditional, hand-made veldskoen shoe shop/factory and rooibos tea shop, Sevilla San rock art trail, Eselbank Waterfall, Heuningvlei backpackers lodge. In Clanwilliam: Clanwilliam Dam, Ramskop Nature Garden, Strassberger veldskoen shoe shop and factory, rooibos tea tasting, the Clanwilliam kunshuis, Clanwilliam Museum, Flower Church where the yearly Clanwilliam wildflower show takes place in early September.

Reviews
Fabulous host and surroundings.
It was my birthday whilst we were at Enjo, and the hosts, Guy and Lauren insisted on baking me a birthday cake.
What an awesome gesture and surprise.
It shows how they care for their guests
It's a long drive to get here, and the gravel road makes it longer but the drive is totally worth it. The tranquility and the peace that the farm offers makes for a beautiful rest and relaxation. There's a beautiful flowing river, there are birds to sing to you. Hot water ablutions clean. We camped and there's a charging station in each campsite. The hiking trails are amazing there too. The hosts are helpful and friendly. My puppy also had a wonderful, he could run around and entertain himself.
