Casa Cara Resort & Wedding Venue was built on a family farm of the group of owners, as a way to make use of the vast space they had access to, and could not see such potential go to waste. Each owner being unique in their own way, brought a little of themselves into the building of this venue, and as such you will never find a unit or room without it's own character, as this is the main concept of the Casa Cara experience.
Casa Cara Lodge, is an Image of Diversity, and you will not easily find a Venue with such an uniquely combined setup for all ages, and all travelers. Our visitors become our friends, and we make it our business to know you. Come visit us, and become a part of our Casa Family.

Casa Cara Lodge is situated within the Vredefort Dome World Heritage Site. This is an area with a rich history, and many Geological Features that have stunned scientists for millennia.
Specialized Tour Operators provide Day Tours through some of the most historical and interesting parts of this area.

We are situated 7km outside the Artsy town of Parys, which has a diverse and unique vibe to it. There are many quaint shops to visit, restaurants that prepare meals you will not easily find anywhere else, and literally something for everyone in every gift shop you can find.
Our town is also known for our world class Adventure Tour Operators, which have been facilitating Adventure Activities for many years.

No complaints at all. Good facilities.
Beautiful place, I loved my stay there, only problem was the monkeys 🤣…the family unit kitchen needs floor hooks so that the monkeys don’t enter it and mess up all the food

We stayed in the Bush Camp. Lovely separate room tents - full access to the lodge, but with extra privacy. People very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again.
