Excellent, friendly service, clean and highly recommended
Our stay at Bamboo Country lodge was five star. Henry was a good host, everything was so beautiful, private and three nights felt like a three weeks worth holiday. Thanks.
Stunning gem in Knysna! You feel like you are staying in the middle of the forrest. Our large room had a full kitchen (wonderful surprise), and an extra bed in a separate adjacent room.
The breakfast was amazingly good (one of the best omelettes I have had) and all the usual amenities were supplied in the room.
The room was exceptionally clean when we arrived, and cleaned throughout each day.
We also felt the location was perfect in Knysna for our needs where we frequently went to Leisure Isle and Thesen Island, and it was very easy for us to get to the N2 from the hotel.
Lastly, we also traveled with our two dogs and Henry and Edith made our stay more than welcomed! Highly recommend, and when we travel this way again, will definitely return.
It is a bushy place suitable for people that love nature. I had fun.

The Bamboo was everything we were looking for. Celebrating our 28th anniversary, my wife and I enjoyed our stay and will return. The roses and bubbly were as ordered. The private pool, fireplace and rustic environment suited us perfectly. The staff are friendly and ready to answer questions and assist with information, recommendations and dinner reservations.
Bamboo was absolutely wonderful from being greeted at the door by our host, to the beautiful tranquil, quiet, lush room, to the fab breakfast! All just heaven - wish we could stay longer!!!
We had the most amazing time at Bamboo Guest House. The atmosphere was wonderful as were our hosts. Keep up the great work.

Knysna, boat trip at open sea spotting whales.
The town has a nice centre with good restaurants. We specially enjoyed our stay in a small restaurant where they served real African food. It was delicious!
