Welcome to River Cottage @ Hermitage Huisies,
River cottage is separate from the other cottages and offers a bit more privacy. The cottage features an indoor fireplace and an outdoor river-stone braai. The cottage comprises 1 bedroom with a luxury double bed and 200 thread-count linen provided, as well as a comfortable sleeper couch in the open-plan living room and kitchen area. Full Wi-Fi but no TV is available in this unit.
PLEASE NOTE: KolKol wood-fired hot tub for hire at R350 per night, 25 pieces of wood included per day Private cottage hire only - Tub will be placed at your cottage for you.

Minimum stay: 2 nights during School / Public Holidays Toddlers(0-2): R80/night Camping cot can be provided Children(2-12): R100/night Children above 12 charged at full price. No smoking in the houses. Hermitage Huisies have many animals including dogs, horses, geese, chickens and bees. We also have a dam and swimming pool. So please take care and note that you enter our property at own risk.

Beautiful setting and lovely accommodation. Definite must to get the hot tub for the cooler evening. Everything was amazing
Lovely little cottage on a farm, we had a great stay. Nadia was in touch and it made the stay more special. Very comfortable, has everything one needs. We added a hot tub and it was great!

La Belle Alliance restaurant is AMAZING for breakfast!
I enjoyed Aan De Eike Guesthouse, My room were clean and the service were excellent.I felt very safe enjoyed every moment since I arrived. Swellendam is beautiful with most beautiful views. The location was very convenient and would recommend The Republican Restaurant. The food and vibe were awesome. It's safe to walk in Swellendam, what a beautiful place for entertainment

Scenery, the residents, the roads are in great condition (compared to many many many other towns/cities in SA).
Wildebraam Estate. Friendly people. No traffic. Has all the shops and places one needs.
