A tranquil peaceful atmosphere welcomes the guests to Yellowwood Cottages. The cottages are situated in Brenton Park Nature Reserve, with beautiful park-like surrounds and a variety of bird life, guinea fowl & a few bushbuck roaming around freely...it offers the perfect accommodation for the outdoor person.
The cottages are a 5 minute walk from the Knysna Lagoon and a 5 minute drive to the white sandy beach of Brenton-on-Sea. It is a scenic 12 min drive to the town of Knysna with many eating places, pubs and arts and craft shops.
Yellowwood cottages comprises 3 or 4 bedrooms to sleeps a maximum of 8 guests which will include children, 2 bathrooms, an open plan lounge, dining and fully equipped kitchen and barbeque facilities on the patio.
The park have 2 tennis courts, a swimming pool; croquet courts, kiddies play area and beautiful lawns where you may practice your golf and on site laundry facilities.
Outdoor activities include hiking , cycling, fishing, canoeing ,sailing and bird watching. The prime golf courses of Fancourt , Sparrebosch & Pezula are within easy reach.
The cottages are located close to the treasures of the Garden route and is an ideal base for exploration of the coastal areas and surrounds.
It is an hour and half drive to the town of Oudshoorn with its famous Cango Caves. Tsitsikamma Forest, Natures Valley, Plettenberg Bay and Mossel Bay and all within close proximity.

This is a real home away from home. The host Cheryl is excellent. The cottages are in immaculate condition. The surroundings are beautiful and there is a lot to do in the nearby areas. This was our 2nd stay here and we will definitely be coming back again.
Stay was very perfect. Everything was good. Staff was good. I recommended it to my colleague and will revisit.

The stay at Yellowwood Cottage was very nice, very clean.
It is really relaxing with bucks, geese and rabbits sharing the beautiful nature surroundings with you.
I can definitely recommend anyone to make use of these facilities.

We had a great stay at yellowwood cottages.The place is great and Cheryl is very helpful.A great place to stay if you have kids.Small little house with everything you need and more.You can feed the bucks and the guinea fowls along with rabbits and wild ducks.Close to the knysna lake and a 6 min drive to town with an outstanding view.I would reccomend this to anyone and can't wait for my next visit
The Park is safe and secure with a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The town of Knysna is a 12min drive alongside the lagoon where you can buy groceries from if you are in a self catering cottage.
Within the park, there are 2 tennis courts, croquet courts, a swimming pool, kiddies play area, and a coin operated laundry on site, lovely lawns all about - and a mini-market within walking distance.
we stayed in a 3 bed roomed cottage, the cottage are set in a beautiful park-like surroundings where guinea fowl and a few bushbuck roam freely and the birdlife is prolific. The cottage where fully equipped with microwave, fridge, stove, TV, crockery, cutlery etc. and all linen was supplied but you must take your own bath/beach towels. You have your own private patio with braai area where the bucks and birds come to get some food if you supply them :-)
We enjoyed the stay, and would like to thank Cheryl for her friendly and much appreciated great service.

Walking down to the lagoon in a park-like atmosphere. Mown lane all the way to the lagoon Seeing all locals taking the dogs for their evening stroll. At Glen House you dont have to worry about load shedding as they use a competent inverter system, all lights and T V stays on. New service added. we organised our local laundry service to pick up your laundry in the morning and deliver them at your front door at 17h00,clock.
