On this beautifull citrus farm in the Sundays River valley, Dave & Judy have established self-catering accommodation. Accommodation is in riverside chalets, Mud Huts, Bush Camp cottages, and the well known Tree Tops cottage. This is a place where family can relax and children are expected to play and have fun. Honeymoon couples can find a quiet hide away. We also have conference & wedding facilities. We look forward to welcoming you.

Very cozy with a natural environment that gives you a peaceful sleep and safety.
A most enjoyable weekend at Avoca. The children had the most wonderful time. The chalet was well equipped and lovely and clean.
We love staying at Avoca - it never disappoints.
I loved the beautiful, well equiped chalet close to the river, with the lovely roses and gardens. It was invigorating to take walks along the citrus trees and hear the birds singing and see the dassies running.The host Riaan, was very helpful and competent. I would love to go back again and strongly recommend Avoca to anyone.
The place is stunning and the facilities are awesome. Its close enough to Addo to make it convenient while still allowing you to have access to a lovely venue with a river that is accessible for swimming and fishing (canoeing etc). There are a set of dassies living in the garden as well as a pair of yellow mongeese. The pool is lovely and the hosts are warm and helpful. Our unit "The castle" needs a bit of TLC but its minor things like the kettle not switching off on its own, a broken lampshade next to the bed and a new mattress required for the downstairs bed as its seen better days. The wi-fi is non existent pretty much, (sadly) unless you are in one tactical spot on the veranda and then outside near the pool. But other than that we would be back - it was memorable and lovely.
Absolutely stunningly beautiful. Beautiful trees and flowers everywhere and so many different types of birds. So peaceful and quiet. We went for an early morning run on the citrus farm and took a very refreshing swim in the swimming pool afterwards. The riverside cabin where we stayed was just what we where looking for. Beautiful inside and out. Lovely stoep area with a braai all under a roof. This is where we spent most of our time. The owners and people at the reception is very friendly too. This place is definitely a must if you are a nature lover and looking for a peaceful getaway away from the noisy city. Will definitely recommend this place to others.

So many things to do! Visited the Elephant Park and saw hundreds of elephants! The privacy and peacefulness was wonderful. My fisherman husband didn't miss his fishing rod at all! The hot tub was a bit hot with all of us.

Addo elephants are an experience not to be missed.
I loved the safe roads and the animals, especially the elephants.I also liked the nice shop to buy memorabilia.I also stayed close by at Avoca and this was five star treatment.I loved the tranquility and good host Riaan.
What an amazing haven to unwind and relax. Everything is Eco friendly and the staff are living examples of this. All the food was organic and delicious. The rooms are clean and comfy, The natural pool was beautiful and the location is close to the Addo Elephant National Park. We would definitely come back! Thank you for our amazing stay🙏
Beautiful scenery and very peaceful.
The animals are not scared of the vehicles travelling near them. We experienced some real magic moments in Addo.
