The Lodge is a charming guest house situated in the Strand. Superbly located on the doorstep of various wine routes, and is within walking distance of restaurants and shops, making it ideal for the whole family. The Lodge is newly renovated, with goose feather duvets etc. Contact us now for a special price! My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and groups. Sleeps 24. Rates are per room per night.
In Room Facilities:The Lodge is newly renovated, with goose feather duvets and modern finishes. Accommodation is offered in 1 Self-catering Room, 6 Standard Rooms, and 1 luxurious Honeymoon Suite. Each room has an en-suite bathroom and most units also have DStv and Wi-Fi available to all guests. We also have available a Loft, sleeps 4/5 with a bathroom but the shower is outside the room.
The Lodge also takes bookings for groups or sports teams of up to 24 people. A lovely swimming pool is available for all guests.
The Lodge is your Strand option for a friendly, clean and secure experience in the Helderberg region. Our prices indicated are per room per night.
Area Information:Strand (Afrikaans for 'beach') is a seaside resort situated on the eastern edge of False Bay and at the foot of the Hottentots Holland Mountains. Its geographical position is between Macassar and Gordon's Bay, and is about 50 km southeast of Cape Town. Strand is in the Western Cape province of South Africa, and has a population of approximately 50,000.Strand's main attraction is the beach; 5 km of white sandy beach off False Bay.
Strand is often referred to as The Strand (Afrikaans: Die Strand), which is the old name of the town.
