Magical and serine. Always a great place to escape busy life. We can breathe again.
So peaceful and private. The dogs were so happy and exhausted on return.
Thanks Ronel for all your assistance
We’ve been to Boskliphuisie and Kliphuisie and loved both houses. It’s the perfect place for those that want to get away from the city with pets, massive area for them to play freely and the dogs love the river and kayaking. It’s our favourite place to go to now 🙂
Ronel is always very accommodating, friendly and kind. Everything you need is there, including a kitchen, bathroom, beds & linen, cutlery, pots pans you name it! The farm itself is beautiful and offers a lovely hiking trail along the river which the dogs and humans thoroughly enjoyed!
Thank you for making it affordable for SA guests. We will be back soon 🤗
Perfect for a hideaway with our 2 big dogs. Was very welcome
Fantastic weekend as always ❤️
Stunning cottage, interesting artefacts, lovely river, paddling superb, nice walks, delighted to have experienced it
Awesome stay as always! 5 stars all the way!
We had a lovely weekend with no other people in sight. the view of the river is great, and the accommodation is spacious and comfortable. The lack of electricity did not bother us at all as there are solar lights. There is very limited cellphone reception.
Very nice place, very private and tranquil. Lots of birds, tortoise, springbok, .
Host is very friendly and accommodating.

Natural beauty and adequate shops, wine and cheese.
great camping
The nature and views are incredible.
I liked the scenic Tradouw Pass, visited the waterfall, and Die Drupkelder cave.
We had lunch at Diesel & Creme. Very impressed with their food once again.
We also visited Ronnies Sex Shop. Nice novelty pub to visit.
The mountains, nostalgia, cheese and wine...Van Loveren the best!
We enjoyed lunch at Viljoensdrift and Catharinas and also having dinner on the private patio watching the sun set over the mountains. The King size bed was super comfortable and the large fenced garden made it very private for us and our scotty dogs.
It’s a beautiful place!
Exploring the area, friendliness in the area.
Small town but not much to see.
The rich history and wine cellars. Van Loveren staff very friendly and felt welcome.
