The double story holiday house is situated in the middle of the Theewaterskloof Country & Golf Estate in Villiersdorp, with easy walking distance of the 'beach', clubhouse, tennis court etc. The house sleeps 8 / 9 people in 4 double bedrooms and a single bedroom ( which also has a pull out rollaway bed for a 10th person ).
Downstairs we have a large open plan entrance, living, dining, kitchen area leading out onto a wooden deck with access to the garden, swimming pool and the shady braai area which is the social epicenter of relaxation. Upstairs there are 3 double bedrooms ( 2 with two single beds pushed together and 1 with a Queen size bed ) leading off the central TV lounge and also out to a balcony. There is a separate scullery with dishwasher and washing machine in the walk through area to the garage and for those cold nights, a built in glass front fireplace which adds welcome warmth to the whole house in winter. The kitchen is fully kitted out with all appliances as well as Nespresso machine.
There are 2 full bathrooms ( one upstairs and one downstairs in the main en-suite ) and in addition, also a Harry Potter toilet under the stairs.
The double garage doubles as a games room with table tennis; the entrance foyer has a proper slate pool table and there is parking for 3 cars in the driveways.
The Country Estate has 24 hour manned and patrolling security which adds to the peace of mind ….
Villiersdorp is only 7 km from the estate and provides visitors and residents with all the essential amenities such as doctors, a dentist, banks, supermarkets, a pharmacy and restaurants. Many artists have also settled in town, adding to its variety of character.
A BREAKAGE DEPOSIT is R2000 and refunded within 3 days of departure.
In addition to the rates, this establishment also charges a once-off R225 cleaning fee per booking.

Would be a great place for a holiday or long stay, unfortunately we only stayed for 1 night. Everything available and fully stocked. Lots of entertainment available, i.e. table tennis, pool table, darts, books to read, BT music player etc etc. Enough beds to sleep 10 people in 5 rooms. Close to the dam, host has kayak's available if that is your thing. Small issue is that DSTV is not available, even if you bring your own card. Be careful of stairs to braai area at night time, as it seems there are no lights there. All in all a very good experience and would definitely go there again if I have the opportunity.
