We had a great stay in Springbok house. The gravel roads are great for cycling, many routes to explore, some more challenging than others. I cycled alone around reserve and felt safe, while game viewing too, saw many animals. Unfortunately we didn't get to try the hot tub, was just too cold outside, literally snowing and frost conditions. The accommodation was comfortable, had everything we needed and decor was nice. It's a special peaceful place away from the city, where conservation is priority. The host couple were lovely, we also did the game drive up the mountain, stunning views from the top with interesting guide. Looking forward to coming again!
Beautiful and serene setting. Please email directions when bookings are confirmed as there were no signs and we were not sure whether we were on the correct dirt road.
Had a great weekend. Many things to do and see on the farm
It was a brilliant experience !!

Beautiful setting, lot of attractions around.
Wonderful atmosphere and most welcoming and friendly residents. A true Gem with beautiful views and excellent hiking experiences. A peaceful and beautiful place with lots of exciting activities for everyone
The tranquility, historical few places, cleanliness and friendly inhabitants.
Came up to Montagu for a climbing course with Blue Mountain Adventures and stayed at the Tolhuis with two friends. It was just perfect. Firstly the location, it was only mere meters away from our first day's location for climbing , LEGOLAND. We could literally stop and walk up to our accommodation for a coffee and lunch break! The place itself was just perfect for the 3 of us. Great little braai area where we enjoyed our evenings and the place is simple and humble yet stylish! The hosts, Michelle, Ivan, and Jason their 6-month-old puppy were just very warm and accommodating. Thank you!
Climbing at Lego Land, Hiking, and cycling (there is a little history town cycle tour).
Quietness and peace.
The beautiful nature. The view of the mountain.
