Great Gatsby offers accommodation in a unique heritage building that was originally the 1926 Coach House. The property is located in Houghton, conveniently close to Killarney and Rosebank and near some top private schools including St John’s College, King Edward VII School, and Roedean and Sacred Heart College. The Great Gatsby is most suitable for a single corporate or a couple and offers easy highway access for those doing business in the Johannesburg CBD and Sandton area.
The heritage venue boasts 4 bedrooms, ideal for business travellers, family visitors and overnight guests. Each room is fitted with Egyptian Cotton linen, towels and guests have access to free Wi-Fi during their stay.
The venue offers a colonial patio which walks out onto the garden, a mountain Lapa with beautiful views, a secluded swimming pool, a drawing room and a dining room with a wood-burning fireplace.

That was a wonderful experience. A wonderful guesthouse in a safe part of Jo'burg. Lovingly decorated with antiques. The main bedroom and the bath are very spacious and spotlessly clean. Our host was very attentive and caring. Breakfast very nice. Always served with a smile.

The food, service, bedrooms, lounges, tranquility, access to business centers and attention to detail. Attentive hostess and proprietor, Gina, nothing is too much of problem. And for animal lovers the resident wire haired terrier, Bella, is a gem.
