Situated on Leisure Isle in Knysna, Beletage (which means ‘the beautiful space’) offers two self-catering studio apartments. Available are a kitchen, en suite bathroom, sitting and dining area and a queen-size bed with high-quality linen and duvets. You will either have a gas BBQ or a weber braai on your patio/balcony.
In Room Facilities:Both studios offer a modern, beautifully furnished space with everything needed for a self-catering stay.

Leisure Isle is a residential island in the Knysna Lagoon.
It offers peace and tranquility, 2 coffee shops and deli and its own nature reserve along the coastline
Two beaches, safe for swimming within easy walking distance and BBQ facilities on the beach.
The attractive island is part of South African National Parks (SANP) and is very clean.
Security on the island is a non-issue and you will feel absolutely safe everywhere you go.

Being an island you are surrounded by water on all sides with the constant change of ebb and flow. During Low Tide, you can walk to the Knynsa Heads and during high tide, it is very safe to swim. Explore the island with the free bicycles, go for a jog around the island ( 3 km in total) stop in at the wonderful coffee shops or watch the sunset from the beach with a cool drink in your hands. Knysna is very scenic and popular with hikers.
You are also very close to the many forests around Knynsa, ideal for hiking and maybe seeing an elephant. The Knysna Waterfront and Thesen Island with their many restaurants and shops are only a short drive away.
Make sure to visit the Featherbed Nature Reserve on one of the ferries.

Wonderful stay, really comfy bed, clever compact little kitchen. Cycled a lot on the freely available bicycles, owner took us out on the lagoon in his rubber duck, saw lots of the lagoon, the island and surrounding parts of Knysna from the water. Will definitely be back

Swim.
The peace and tranquility of walking next to the lagoon, relaxing on Bollard Bay and being able to cycle to both the Leisure Isle Coffee Shop and Bodega Cafe from our accommodation. We also walked to East Head Cafe at The Heads at low tide! This was a proper relaxing holiday!
