What a fabulous weekend stay at the Mosseltrap cottage. Exactly what we were looking for, right up on the beach. Long walks that seem to go on forever. The house it self is comfortable and neat and caters for any kind of weather you might find.
Beautiful place. So peaceful and quiet, its the closest you'll get to paradise. We will definitely return. Thanks Marlene, we really enjoy staying on your farm for a few days.
We had a wonderful time at Wamakersvlei. The tree days were just too short!!!
Stunnning experience! The accommodation has been put together with comfort and luxury in mind while still allowing an authentic rustic experience. The large stoep is ideal for stoep-kuiers, which brought back many fond memories of a time when life was not such a rush.
Beautiful night skies, with ample opportunity to do astrophotography as there is not much light pollution in that area.
Great birding area and we were happy to see a pair of black oystercatchers.
The Nguni cattle on the beach was an extra special sighting.
Marlene is a great hostess and made us feel very welcome.
We needed this break and will definitely visit again.
Wamakervlei is one of the most beautiful holiday destinations we've ever been to. We had an amazing 3 days on the farm. Its the perfect place to take time out from your normal day to day life to relax and spend quality time with your family. The fact that there is limited electricity and no television makes Wamakervlei even more special. You can sit and enjoy what nature has to offer. The only thing we regret is that we couldnt stay longer. The friendly hosts made sure we had a very pleasant stay. Wamakervlei will definitely see more of us in the future.
