Welcome to Hotel Schweizerhaus/Cafe Anton,
Hote Schweizerhaus is found in the heart of Swakopmund, 5-10 min walk away from the beach.Our guest rooms are comfortable and spacious and include Standard, Luxury and Deluxe rooms and different suites. Each room is equipped with an en-suite bathroom, telephone and television. Most of our rooms have their own balcony, where you can sit and enjoy home-made traditional German confectionery, freshly baked daily from Namibia's most famous coffee shop, Café Anton, while you enjoy the view and fresh sea air. For your convenience we also provide a room and laundry service, and there is access for handicapped people. Wireless Internet is also available from most of the rooms.
We boast with Namibia’s most famous coffee shop. Café Anton, with its traditional German confectionery, such as the Black Forest Cream Cake, Florentiners, “Bee Sting” and lots of other cakes. Enjoy the sun and fresh sea air while we spoil you with freshly brewed coffee, tea or other drinks of your choice on our terrace or come on inside for a more warm and cozy environment. More delights to offer, are our delicious á la Carte lunch and a healthy breakfast.

We camped at Alte Brücke for 3 weeks...loved the grass and private ablution facility. All the coffee shops and restaurants we visited are highly recommended, e.g. The Old Steamer, The Tug, Brauhaus, Altstadt, Ankerplatz, The Trading Post, Café Anton, Two Beards Coffee shop to name a few. We just love the vibe in Swakop!

Fantastic town, loads to do, clean, beautiful and full of character. My favorite town through South Africa and Namibia so far.
