Historical Farm Homestead (Pansy) is a beautiful self catering cottage situated in the heart of the peaceful country-side.
The cottage is out of a previous century set in the cape mountains where with natural cape fynbos and amazing views. This lovely cottage can accommodate up to 4 guests and consists of a stoep/deck, living room, kitchen, dining area, 1 bedroom, a loft room and 1 bathroom with a shower.
Available activities include, hiking, mountain hiking (no path - GPS co-ordinates will be supplied), mountain biking, birdwatching and canyoning/kloofing. Personal training is available upon request/prior booking. All activities are entirely at own risk.
The town of Twee Riviere is a typical South African Farming community with the little town of Joubertina nearby that will ensure that guests can still access all the basic facilities like shops, banks and restaurants.

Absolutely a place you can shut of from a busy and noisy city life. The cottage were clean and neat . Warm shower and good mattresses… fantastic ! Sunette , the owner let you feel at home, she is friendly and have a warm heart!

I've stayed at a lot of accommodation places and I would rate my stay at 'Pansy' one of the best. The hosts, Suenette and Jimmy are definitely the best I have ever stayed with. Pansy is a historical cottage with beautiful yellowood floors, a massive kitchen and dining area. The bathroom is also large. What I particularly loved about the place was sitting on the veranda, which encompasses the entire front of the cottage, with a steaming cup of coffee, watching the sun come up and listening to the birds wake up. It really is a special place hosted by very special people. Oh, I nearly forgot. Order one of Suenette's chicken pies. They're almost as big as a dart board and everytime you take a bite it feels like you've hit the bull's eye. Thanks again for a wonderful stay and help Jimmy and Suenette.

Lots of fruits
Restaurant are nearby like the diner R62 and more. Very affordable also. Be careful with cars that are very low dropped as the roads are very much gravel.
