2 The Mews is one of 8 units set in a well-maintained garden in a secure town-house complex in the middle of Clarens.
The modern two-bedroomed unit (with a double bed in each room) has two bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, dining room and lounge (with full DStv and wifi) leading onto a verandah, little garden and lock-up garage.
We think the best part of the complex is that it is situated close enough to walk the four blocks into town, but far enough from the busy buzz of the our happy little village. It is also only a two-block walk up to one of the entrances to the Clarens Village Conservancy (CVC) and the start of many beautiful and well-marked paths; and only a six-block walk to the start of the Clarens Parkrun. We are also per-friendly and welcome your little furkids.

WOW! WOW! WOW!
These are the words I would use to describe our stay at The Mews.
It was our first time going to Clarens for a holiday, and was probably one of the best vacations we’ve had in a very long time.
The Mews offers such a quiet and peaceful environment. Perfect for a break away from the hustle and bustle.
I appreciated the cleanliness and the fact that it contained everything one needs on a daily basis.
Furthermore, being able to bring my 4 footed babies along was just awesome (they enjoyed just as much as we did).
Thanks to Frank and Di for being such amazing hosts and such pleasant and friendly people.
I would highly recommend a stay here to anyone.
We had a fantastic stay at the Mews. The place was clean and equipped with everything that was required an absolute home away from home FABULOUS!!!!!!!We will definitely be recommending The Mews to friend and family. We will definitely be back in the near future.

Love the mountains for a nice hike.
A variety of restaurants and shops to explore.
We love exploring Golden Gate, wondering through the shops in the Town and visiting our favourite Clarens Brewery. We enjoy supporting the smaller farm restaurants in the area. Highland Brew was a lovely new addition to this trip.
Variety
Main roads to town are recommended for daylight use only. Small town atmosphere but with a wide variety of activities and stores. The annual Titanic Challenge Trail Run was my main attraction - stunning views!
Everything....food, quality of shops...felt safe...clean...friendly people....
Love all the shops and restaurants there is. Surrounded by mountains. Perfect breakaway for winter or summer.

Small, quaint, but very lively little town with spectacular views all around. Hiking is a must and can be done on the edge of town. We stayed at Views and the hiking trail was on our back door. Beautiful, beautiful little town offering great food, culture, entertainment and beautiful hiking trails.
