There is a verandah at the back of the home with built-in braai and an enclosed yard.
L'Agulhas offers an atmosphere of tranquillity. Points of interest include the lighthouse, museums, and the curio shop. Visitors also have the opportunity to visit the official southern-most point of Africa. The unit is only 1km from the tidal pools, perfect for swimming, and just 6 km from the long, sandy beach of Struisbaai. Other activities include surfing, hiking, whale spotting, tennis, bowling, horse riding, or rock and surf angling.

Very nice place and generally we had a pleasant experience. However, we were not informed that towels were not usually provided at all. Thankfully Sanelle provided towels. The place could do with more backup light during power outages - only 1 back-up lamp was available and some candles. Finally, the geyser needs electricity to ignite it to provide warm water. So when electricity is down there is no warm water. The stove-top can be ignited with a match during load-shedding.
