Our lodge offers guests comfortable and attractive accommodation. The log cabins are ideally suited to families and sleep up to 4 people. Each cabin features two bedrooms, a comfortable lounge, private verandah. The luxurious en-suite double units are set under a thatch roof with a private verandah overlooking the lodge grounds and river-bed below.
The lounge and dining room at Rhino River Lodge are set high on the banks of the Msunduze River lined with magnificent Sycamore Fig and Fever Trees. A favourite with all of our guests is spending time in our Boma enjoying an evening cocktail around the campfire, swapping stories of their adventures in the bush. These evenings are a magical part of every guest's experience, taking in the smells of the campfire, the sounds of the African night, and the splendour of an unpolluted starry sky.
Our kitchen specializes in offering cuisine that features traditional South African flavours dishes and cooking styles and our wine list has been hand-picked to provide our guests with a selection of some of the finest affordable wines that South Africa has to offer.

Area Information:The reserve is composed of a wide variety of habitat types and is home to a large diversity of animal and plant life. The Manyoni Private Game Reserve was initially established as a part of World Wildlife Fund's black rhino range expansion program. A population of these endangered rhinos were introduced to the game reserve and have been thriving ever since. At Rhino River Lodge we are frequently priviledged with sightings of black rhino on our game drives.
Property Facilities:The swimming pool offers a welcome respite for guests looking to escape the midday heat or to relax and unwind. Morning and afternoon game drives are included in the tariff. Night drives, walking safaris and White Rhino Tracking can be arranged. Our birdlife is exceptional with over 350 species recorded.
Attractions:Accessible within an easy drive are: Hluhluwe/Imfolozi and Mkuze National Parks, St Lucia, Cape Vidal, Elephant Interaction, Cheetah Rehabilitation Programme, Crocodile farm Zulu Cultural Village and craft market, Hippo and Croc cruises.

Stayed early January 2020. Everything is 5 star, the accommodations, the food, and the atmosphere created by the welcoming and caring staff. The games drives are especially 5 star, our very experienced, knowledgeable and reassuring Ranger Kyle helped us to experience every bit of Africa’s wildlife from the very small to the very large! 3 nights with our 2 kids was amazing, however with their hospitality and the amazing game viewing we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend staying here and really hope we will be able to return one day!!! Samy M

Warm friendly hospitality, reasonable rates with exceptional service, 5-star food all in a gorgeous setting. The star of hte hsow was the bush - and the very informative game ranger we had. She shared her vast knowledge generously and kindled a life-long interest in the bush for our boys. Wonderful find - hoep to return.
The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Isaac the guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We saw white and black rhinos, a charging elephant and all the animals promised in the brochure. The food was excellent. The room was clean. Might be time to do a little refurbish on the bathrooms. Overall, great trip.
