Idwala Tides accommodation has 9 Beautiful Apartments on offer, all of them are in the Cozumel Complex in Umdloti, which is right across the road from the famous Umdloti Natural Tidal Pool Beach. They all have stunning 180 degree Sea views from the living rooms and all the main bedrooms.
Accommodation comprises 8 quite different apartments, from a 4 ,6 & 8 Sleepers to our largest, a 4 Bedroom 10 Sleeper.
There is also a pool & braai facilities available for guests use in the Cozumel Complex.

Sat- 12pm- 3pm

All Apartments are also right across the road from the popular natural tidal pool in Umdloti, where you can swim at leisure or enjoy a bit of snorkeling or perhaps do a rock safari at low tide (which we highly recommend). You will find incredible sea life especially if you do a Safari night walk, you will come across octopuses, perhaps even a sand-ray or two... as well as all the smaller creatures in their now exposed hiding places.

The beach is not overcrowded and quiet but mostly spent our time in Durban central

Umdloti has very conveniently located magnificent stretches of pristine golden beaches with shark nets, clear water, large safe tidal pool, delightful paved walks beside the sea and outstanding restaurants like Mundo Vida with sea views. Simple open air changing rooms like those seen on European beaches would be an improvement.
