Welcome to Guest House at 118.
Known mainly for our high-end residential designs, we at PWM Architects have just completed the first three of several guest rooms set in a spectacular urban forest in the upmarket suburb of Atholl. Only 2km from the site lies the Sandton CBD and the Gautrain from where a high speed rail service offers easy access to Oliver Tambo International Airport. Our emphasis is on good quality accommodation, stylishly put together.
Guest House 118 is 'load shedding proof' and fully backed up by solar energy.

The guest House was very neat, elegant and comfortable. Deidre and Keith were very friendly.
I stayed in the studio apartment for three nights, and was very satisfied. It is well equipped with everything you could need, including kitchen and cooking items. The room is well designed, attractive and comfortable - looks like something from a magazine. Deirdre and Keith are great hosts, who made sure I was well taken care of, and well fed at breakfast time. 5 stars for sure!
My boyfriend and I had a restful and lovely weekend here. Hope we get to come back!
Had a very good stay at this fine establishment. Was very impressed with all the Covid safety protocols in place which helped me feel at ease. The room is comfortable and tasteful, and the hosts are extremely accomodating. Would definitely recommend.
This was a perfect stay. Guest house is beautiful and comfortable (and for a tour of the garden). Rooms are carefully designed, beds are comfortable and wifi is fast. Kudos to hosts Keith and Deirdre, nothing was too much trouble.
My boyfriend and I spent an awesome long weekend in this beautiful guest house. Hosts were really helpful providing guidance on where to eat and things to see. They also collected us from the Gautrain station. You can see Keith is an architect, as the room is really stylish and carefully designed. Hope to return soon!
Guest House at 118 is a real gem. Beautiful gardens, spacious room and perfect hosts. Would highly recommend.
My only disapointment was when I had to leave. I regularly travel from Cape Town to JHB, so plan to return very soon.
Just book it! This place exceeded my expectations in every possible way. Beautiful garden and room, lovely hosts - best value for money you will find.
Ideal weekend escape, quiet and tranquil. We booked the studio apartment; the styling is really cool (you can see an architect designed it). Had a nice big table for me to work at, and a big TV with Netflix etc. Keith and Deirdre are very kind, and nothing is too much trouble.
