In the heart of Gauteng, lies Dinokeng - 'a place of two rivers', where you will find the amazing KwaThabisile game lodge. Wake up in the morning to game grazing peacefully under your bedroom window; enjoy sunset drinks overlooking the valley and watch various animals live in the bush nearby.
The game in the area includes kudu, zebra, blesbuck, impala, wildebeest, eland, waterbuck, duiker, steenbuck, warthog, porcupine, jackals, caracal, mongoose, vervet monkeys, bushbaby, baboon, reptiles, snakes, frogs, and tortoises.
There are a range of activities close to the lodge that will delight and occupy visitors for many hours upon a time. Visit Ostrich Paradise, Lion Camp or Roodeplat dam; go to Cullinan and enjoy a wonderful diamond tour or a relaxing game of golf; the Kollonade shopping centre is close by as is the gaming haven of the Carousel Casino.
The old Thabisile farmhouse was originally built by Italian war prisoners and has since been converted into 3 self-catering units. In case you need any amenity, there are shops, a liquor store, butchery and petrol station just 2km away.

Great place to unwind for a few days, comfortable, peaceful and quiet, beautiful sunset in evenings from the pool, very helpful and courteous hosts, thank you Alex and Kay for an awesome weekend!
This magical place is located within the Dinokeng reserve where game can be spotted beyond the fence and you wake up to the sounds of the wild! The accommodation is very spacious and decorated beautifully. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. We loved having the family dogs to visit - it felt like home! Alex and Kay were quick to organise anything we needed, including takeaways from the local restaurant. There is a big swimming pool which thrilled my child and the loungers and vines created an atmosphere of luxury and relaxation. We will definitely be going back.
The stay was an amazing experience 😊 the hosts were very accommodating and did everything to make our stay comfortable.
The place is a haven away from the city.
I enjoyed it a lot, they come to clean every day.

Amazing to be at for a quiet weekend.
We had a lovely quiet and relaxing weekend. Wonderful hosts. Thank you.
Stay was fabulous, considering what we paid. The place met all basic needs/ requirements, but the icing on cake was the friendly staff and willingness, to the extent of going out of their way, of the owners to make our stay comfortable.
Good stay. Loved it. Happy with the service. Recommended and I will revisit.

Cullinan Reviews
The Cottage was not in Cullinan but very close, we did not visit Cullinan but will do next time.
Lots of hidden Gems, small town with a lot of love in it. I’d say spend a week there - exploring and enjoying what the small town has to offer
Izapa bush & game lodge👌❤️💯 I am definetly going back for the pool, amazing food & staff and breath taking chalets 😄
The location was wonderful
Enjoyed the nature and variety of wild animals.
Peace and Quiet and the town itself is beautiful and historic.
Went to Christmas market.
Cullinan is a little sweet town, great restaurants. Very nice to relax. Very nice gift shops, great friendly people. There is great history and nice places to look at. Very nice for a get away weekend.
Spa & Golf!
The little town is so vibrant and full of life. We really enjoyed all of the little shops and the hospitality. We especially enjoyed Opistasie Bar and restaurant, such a lovely set up and truly authentic. The Warehouse was a lovely touch as well.
