We pride ourselves in our personal commitment to the planet.
Experience bio-inspired architecture at Paradise Private. The roof cover uses unique, organic, indigenous planted living roofs, which pump oxygen into the environment. Structures are built from solidwood, using sustainable, local resources, for a low carbon footprint.
Our 4 semi self-catering studios are located in the heart of Paradise, perched high above the lagoon & just a short hop to the centre of town.
All the studios have private entrances and are designed with romance at heart & each one has its own unique character - a blissful base for creative solo breaks or lovebirds wanting to go off the radar into their own little world.
Three studios offer Romantic built-in Alcove queen beds that look out onto sweeping lagoon & Heads views. The 4th studio (Stone-Zen) overlooks a garden, but has a dedicated lagoon viewing deck a short stroll away from the studio.
Enjoy natural soft lighting, warm textures, & low ceilings to enhance intimacy.
Whether it be glassy summer days or dramatic winter storms, the lagoon views from the studios will take your breath away, whatever the weather. The private undercover decks are perfect for champagne celebrations or nights wrapped in blankets whilst enjoying a steaming mug of hot chocolate.
The kitchenettes are equipped with basic catering facilities (under counter fridge, microwave, induction plate, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery)
Make use of our private African inspired courtyard boma for a fireside evening & toasted marshmallows. Barbeque evenings by arrangement (Utensils & firewood provided free of charge). No one will be able to resist falling in love, again.
Each studio has a flatscreen TV with a full selection of DSTV channels, as well as uncapped complimentary Wi-Fi.
On arrival you will also find complimentary goodies, such as wine, chocolates, carafe of sherry, joghurt, cranola, rusks, coffee, tea, milk & sugar.
Secure off-street parking is available on premises.
The Knysna Waterfront is about 1,7 km away from us. Knysna is surrounded by a paradise of indigenous trees, mountains, dams and picturesque beaches. This town offers various activities and excellent restaurants.

Wow! What an amazing place to stay. The views, the luxury and the attention to detail was second to none.

Ellie and François have created true paradise - both are amazing hosts and go out of their way to make your stay unforgettable.
Their appartments are superb. All the rooms are unique, spotless and full of nice touches.
We enjoyed the great views from the Zen Tidal studio - highly recommended. No question: We will come back any time!
A piece of Paradise in deed. High in the hills but still connected to the town. An authentic experienced will all our needs met. Lovely hosts Francois and Illie were always available with local information and set up a wonderful fire -site for our dinner. We Left feeling totally immersed in what Knysna has to offer and more. So many natural gems including this Private Paradise.

The studio is beautiful and well equipped, with everything we needed and more. Amazing craftsmanship and blend in beautiful with nature!
Extra touches that we didn't expect, wine, sherry, chocolate, coffee rusk ,,, made us feel totally welcome.
