Welcome to Riverfront View - House on Blyde.

House on Blyde offers self-catering accommodation and is located in a secure, fenced reserve in the Blyde Canyon. This splendid and secluded home is situated on the banks of the Blyde River, and will steal your heart with the tranquillity of nature surrounding the property.

There are spectacular mountain views. Entire use of the home. Secluded… Quiet. You may enjoy the zebras that visit regularly... They are also very tame. Very unique stay.

The space & access :
This fully furnished, family-friendly, double-storey home consists of 3 spacious air-conditioned bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main and second bedrooms each have a queen-size bed, and the third bedroom is equipped with 2 single beds and a queen-size bed; each bedroom offers lovely views. The first bathroom is fitted with a shower and a bath, twin basins and a toilet; the second bathroom has a shower, a basin, and a toilet.
The open-plan well-equipped kitchen contains a fridge-freezer, a stove and an oven, cutlery, crockery, and other small appliances. The adjacent open-plan living area leads out to a sheltered deck with braai facilities. There is another open-air deck next to the river where guests can sit and relax as well.
Guests can hear the sounds of the river, or often spot free-roaming impala, zebra, bushbuck, and bush pig near the house. There are unusually beautiful trees, such as Jackal Berry, Leadwood, Marula and Fig that surround the property.

Guest interaction:
We shall be available for your needs as far as we can and assist in any way possible to make your stay a memorable experience.
Guests must refrain from going off the main road and wandering onto private properties. This will be discussed on arrival.

Security :
• Security is strictly monitored through a
security gate
with 24-hour access control
• Please respect the privacy of fellow
residents. Noise
levels are to be kept at a low rate at
all times. Our
security is very strict
• Please keep to the speed limit of
20km/h on the reserve
• Guests must be vigilant when walking
around - animals are wild and
unpredictable
• Close all doors and windows when off
the property

Directions From Or Tambo:
• Travel on N4 highway, through
Middelburg toll gate
• Turn off to Belfast, go to Dullstroom,
then Lydenburg (Mashishing)
• Through Ohrigstad, down and up
mountain pass (Abel Erasmus)
• Go through Strijdom tunnel and travel
straight for about 24 km, just before
the Blyde River bridge, you must turn
right (Swadini Driehoek Road/
Jonkmanspruit).
• Carry on for approximately 12.5km
until T- junction; turn right, in about
800m, the entrance gate will be on
your right.
• Gps: (Blyde River Canyon Lodge) Make
sure it takes you via Dullstroom, for
easy find.
