STANNARDS GUEST LODGE **** offers a choice of 4 Standard Rooms and 2 Superior Rooms, all of which are individually and tastefully decorated; and 2 self-catering Garden Cottages - one for 2 and one for 4 people.
You will enjoy the "Afro-chic" main lounge with its cosy ambiance, as well as the fully-licenced bar with its flat plasma screen TV.
A boutique is also available with local art and handmade ethnic jewellery.
Each room features a lovely en-suite bathroom, fan, hairdryer, shared DSTV as well as coffee and tea facilities. Every room has its private entrance and patio.
In both Cottages you will find flat screen TV, with shared DSTV, DVD-player, fire place, safe and fully equipped kitchen. Each terrace overlooks the garden, the pool and the Outeniqua Mountains in the distance.
STANNARDS GUEST LODGE **** is the perfect base from which to explore all the treasures the famous Garden Route has to offer. Information regarding local restaurants and activities is available and bookings made on request.
Property Facilities:The lush, indigenous garden (6000sqm) has a salt water swimming pool (13m) and barbeque area. The vast expanse of lawn and number of beautiful trees are home to more than 80 species of birds. We also have onsite misuse that will spoil you with massages of your choice. Knysna, boat trip at open sea spotting whales.
The town has a nice centre with good restaurants. We specially enjoyed our stay in a small restaurant where they served real African food. It was delicious!
