Rus In De Rust - 6 Sleeper is a beautiful 1920s heritage house offering spacious accommodation for up to 6 guests in two separate units.
The two-bedroom house is available as a private unit sleeping 4 guests and the Studio "Casita" is available as a private unit sleeping 2 guests. Both units will share the garden with a communal braai area and a plunge pool. The two units can also be booked as a whole to accommodate a group of 6 travelling together.
The 4-sleeper house has 2 large bedrooms sleeping 4 guests. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed while the second bedroom is furnished with twin beds. The bathroom is fitted with a shower and toilet. Both bedrooms are open-plan featuring the dining and lounge and dining area. The lounge opens up onto a wrap-around veranda with seating and beautiful views over the Swartberg Mountains. The kitchen has a fireplace and is equipped with a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee- and tea-making facilities, crockery and cutlery. There is a separate TV lounge with a Smart TV with access to Netflix.
The 2-sleeper studio "Casita" sleeps a further two guests and is located in the garden and offers a self-contained studio furnished with a double bed. The bathroom is fitted with a shower and toilet. There is a lovely little terrace with views over the "Plaasdam Swembad"
Guests can enjoy the garden and indulge in the natural plunge pool.

Small town full of gems and beautiful places to visit

Definitely worth every cent
The Karoo is a beautiful place. We visited THE TRAVELING TORTOISE for a weekend. We were welcomed by the owner, Jeff, who took us to our chalet. The chalet is very neat. Jeff showed us around and light our wood-fired hot tub.
I will recommend this trip for young and old. Our kids enjoyed the freedom of roaming around and the 'older' enjoyed the nature and quite.
