Our beautiful, tranquil guest cottages are nestled among pastures and croplands, at the feet of the Drakensberg and on the banks of the Tugela River. Each cottage has 2 en-suite bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful veranda overlooking the Drakensberg mountain range. There is a braai facility available at each cottage.

Attractions:By venturing to the top of Mike’s Pass (accessible by 4x4), travellers can enjoy incredible views of the Central Drakensberg. Other attractions include Doreen Falls; Didima Resort and San Art Centre; the Mweni Cultural Centre, which provides trails and guides; and Rainbow Gorge to see two enormous boulders forming a striking wedge.
Giant’s Castle in the Central Drakensberg is particularly rich in San art. Worthwhile attractions here include Boer War Battlesites, the Cave Museum, and the Vulture Restaurant, which has a camouflaged hide where you can see birds of prey feeding.

We had a wonderful stay at Kezlyn Cottages. Kerry was very good with replying to questions and providing information on of places of interest, shops, restaurants etc. Kerry met us at our cottage on arrival and was always available on WhatsApp.
The cottages are very comfortable and neat, clean and tastefully decorated. The cottage is very well equipped. Everything you could possibly need to make a self catering stay has been thought of. Electric blankets for the chilly morning & evenings, Gas heater & Battery lamps for load shedding were very welcome treats.
Being an allergy sufferer, we chose Kezlyn Cottages as there is no thatch. We were in Bergville to run the Arthur Cresswell Ultra Marathon and it is a very easy 15 min drive to the start. You are able to preorder prepared meals, burgers etc. for your stay.
The setting, sunrises and sunsets are magnificent and I wouldn't hesitate to book and stay at Kezlyn Cottages again. Highly recommended.

The Royal Natal National Park is beautiful (though some of the roads need to be redone). The Coffee Patch and Bingelela Restaurant were great places to eat.
ATKV Drakensville Resort is my first, hope to visit other interesting places later. Quietness and cleaness of the place, mostly warm swimming pools.
