At Karoo Rustigheid Guest Farm we believe that it is important to reconnect with yourself, your loved ones and Nature. At Karoo Rustigheid it is a unique opportunity to spend time on a working merino farm in die Roggeveld Karoo, offering many simple experiences that will establish reconnections to self, loved ones and nature.
We believe that we need unforgettable, beautiful and meaningful experiences to create memories. Bring your bicycles and explore the farm and surroundings.
Take a walk in the veld and enjoy the beautiful flowers as you walk to the earthen dam and enjoy bird life on the water.
At night sit back and relax, unwind and enjoy the outside fireplace where you can braai or just spend time around a bonfire under the beautiful dark sky.
The main house consists out of 3 bedrooms that sleep 9 persons.
2 and half bathrooms, 2 toilets and a separate shower and bathtub.
The living/dining room is open plan with an inside braai as well and a separate fireplace for those cold winter nights. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. Dishwasher, Fridge/freezer , toaster, kettle, microwave, gas stove and an induction stove top.
Full DSTV and Free Wi-Fi available.
Board games are provided to enjoy with your family and friends.
A safe and secure outside play area available for smaller children as well. Very good, quality and comfortable linen and towels provided to ensure you enjoy your stay with us.

Located in the Northern Cape the town was established in 1855 around the Dutch Reformed Church.
Today Sutherland is mainly a sheep farming area with its focus on tourism as it provides visitors with a clear night sky’s ideal for feeling “closer” to the universe via its magnificent Observatory – the largest telescope in the Southern Hemisphere. Visitors flock here from all over just for this even in winter!

Relaxation, peace and quiet starry nights and lovely walking trails. A beautiful veld explore experience. It was lovely and the very best most friendly hosts. A must for a weekend getaway. Near Cape Town 300km. Quick and easy. Enjoy.
