Area Information:

AfriCamps at Magoebaskloof in Limpopo is situated just outside Haenertsburg, close to Tzaneen. The area is known for its thick forest blooming with amazing plant species, attracting remarkable birds to the area. A great way to take in the beautiful sights of the 'Kloof' is by driving through the winding Magoebaskloof Pass. Here you will catch glimpses of the lush Afromontane forest, eucalyptus, pine, and tea plantations. The climate is also perfect for farming fruits like avocados, berries, and kiwis.

Property Facilities:

In the seemingly enchanted Magoebaskloof, and in the heart of the Cheerio Valley forest, lie the world-famous Cheerio Gardens, home to AfriCamps at Magoebaskloof where 10 fully equipped boutique glamping tents overlook the extraordinary Magoebaskloof landscapes. The property is famous for its on-site wedding venue, Cheerio Gardens. Visit the on-site restaurant, Cheerio Café. Bring your canoe along for a paddle, or enjoy a refreshing swim in one of the farm dams. Unwind in your own private wood-fired hot tub right next to the tent. Explore the farm on foot during a farm walk or load your mountain bike for an adrenaline-fueled ride through the forest. Exquisite bird species can be spotted in the forest, in the gardens and around the farm dams. Pack a picnic and go birding.

Attractions:

Magoebaskloof is known for its streams, waterfalls, dams, and gardens which attract mountain bikers, hikers, and birders for a thrilling adventure. Cosy eateries and interesting farming industries can also be visited.

We had a lovely stay. Lovely location to explore the area. Just do feel toilet paper needs to be provided for the whole of your stay and not just 2 rolls for 5 people over 3days.
