Welcome to Akwa Hermanus!
Akwa House is a stunning 3 story holiday home situated in Hermanus, Western Cape. This self-catering house offers beautiful views of the mountain, beaches and lagoon, and is located 2 roads away from the famous Grotto blue flag beach, which is a 10min walk. There are amazing restaurants and a lot of tourist attractions, as well as a world class golf course and wine farms located in the Hermanus and Hemel and Aarde valley.
The entire house is rented out on a self catering basis and sleeps 10-12 guests. The house consists of 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, of which 4 bedrooms are downstairs and 1 bedroom is upstairs. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed and has a small en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has two twin beds with a full bathroom next door. The third bedroom is the family room, which has a double bed, two single beds and a full en-suite bathroom. The fourth bedroom offers a double bed with an en-suite bathroom. The fifth bedroom is located upstairs and offers a double bed with a small en-suite bathroom and beautiful sea-view.
The house is very family friendly with 2 lounge areas, one a with pool table, table tennis table and a bar area and the other lounge which is located upstairs. The upstairs lounge, balcony and one upstairs bedroom offer beautiful 180-degree sea views, and the back of the house has a balcony offering magnificent mountain views. Each balcony has its own braai area, so it's up to you to decide where you want to make your fire depending on the weather.
Akwa also recently installed a solar system which means no more loadshedding!!!

We found the house stunning. Its position close to the beach was ideal. Our only complaint was we couldn't stay longer.
