Yzerfontein is a charming coastal village 100km (1 hour) from Cape Town. It is 20km from the iconic town of Darling (arts, crafts, wineries and restaurants) and 20km from the West Coast National Park (which includes Langebaan Lagoon, a world heritage and wetland site). The house overlooks 16-mile beach, the longest uninterrupted beach in South Africa.
Casa Del Mare is but 5 minutes from the beach, 5 minutes from an award-winning Spar and close to all amenities. In spite of these close amenities Casa Del Mare is a peaceful haven of tranquillity. The veranda overlooks a totally enclosed garden with lawn good for children’s games and a trampoline for the energetic. To braai at Case Del Mare is one of self-indulgence away from the maddening crowd
Entering Case Del Mare through a passage gate you will confront to a large patio, a well-kept garden trimmed lawn with trampoline. It is totally enclosed therefore suitable for young children of all ages.
Entering the house via the sliding doors is the open space for the lounge, dining table and a well stoked bar kitchen. 4 plate stove/oven, a dishwasher and 2 fridges.
To the left is a spacious double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. To the right is another bedroom, and a bunkroom with 2 x double bunks. These are serviced by a bathroom with shower and bath.
Below this floor and entered by outside steps in another bedroom with two singe beds and ensuite bathroom.
This is a family home, and we prefer family bookings and not singles parties/students/bachelor parties. 8 adults max or 6 adults and 4 kids.
Wi-fi and premium DSTV is included. Off street parking for 4 vehicles.
The top floor of the house is the owner’s accommodation but is rarely occupied during a let.
