Welcome to Doornfontein Guest Farm Cradock!
The beautiful Doornfontein Guest Farm is situated in the beautiful Karoo, 37 kilometres from Cradock on the Graaff-Reinet Road (R61), at an altitude of 1077 m. The spacious grounds consist of well laid out terraced lawns with large shady trees, perfect for the country lovers in search of some tranquility.
Accommodation consists of 6 comfortable rooms, 4 which has an en-suite, and 2 which share a communal separate bathroom. Linen and towels are provided for your convenience. WiFi is available, and a delicious breakfast is available on request at an additional fee.
There is also a communal kitchen, communal braai facilities, secure parking and a splash pool/dam.
Activities:
1. Hiking, Trail Running & Mountain Biking
You are welcome to explore the farm (just leave our gates the way you found them).
2. Wildlife & Bird Watching
Our wildlife include Wildebees, Springbok, Secretary Birds, Verreaux's Eagle and many more, and you can wake up to the lovely sound of birds in the early morning.
3. Lookout Point
Enjoy watching a breathtaking sunrise and sunset. This is the perfect spot for a picnic.
4. Hunting
We offer a family friendly hunting experience.
5. Long Distance Shooting Range
We offer a 1 km gong shooting range, which is perfect for target practice.

Beautiful! Go and relax
We really enjoyed our stay. Jutie was a wonderful hostess. We had everything we needed. Our main goal was birding, and even though we only stayed one night, we had 30 bird sightings.
We would definitely like to visit at Doornfontein Guest Farm again, next time in spring or summer, when we should find an even larger amount of bird species.
