For affordable accommodation in the picturesque town of Bethlehem, our guests have the luxury of being close to town but still have the peace, serenity and affordability of the beautiful Loch Athlone itself. It is a 24 security complex and it is ideal for the travelling businessman or a cosy group passing through.
We are always ready to help you with your accommodation needs.
In Room Facilities:We offer 8, 1 and 2 bedroom chalets, with DStv (guesthouse channels). All our rooms are equipped with warm blankets and heaters for our cold winters. All the chalets have there own braai facilities and are fully equipped. The rooms are serviced every day, except on Saturday and Sundays.
Area Information:The beautiful Clarens is a 30 minute drive away and well known restaurants 2km from Loch Athlone. We do have a small airport 5km away and drop offs can be arranged.
Property Facilities:Enjoy long walks, beautiful sunsets and fishing to relax. We are pet-friendly, so all pet children are welcome. A nature reserve is just across the road with a huge number of antelopes. Lions and Bengal tigers can be visited on a farm 10km from us with beautiful views over the Maluti mountains.

I really enjoy smaller towns, its close to Clarence and accommodation is reasonable
The people are friendly and the town is situated in the most beautifull part of the Free State.
Close to Clarens.
Enjoyed dinner at the Wooden Spoon.
It is a small town, but it has all the necessary shops and restaurants.
We went for a doctor's visit, so we did not really move around. We found the bit of shopping that we did very nice and the people very friendly. In summer time this is a very friendly "Platteland" town. Lots of eating places and easy shopping.
Central located.
We found Bethlehem clean and enjoyed the restaurants and pubs.
Less traffic in Bethlehem.
The food and service at Ocean Basket were excellent.
