Welcome to The Lazy Lapa!
The Lazy Lapa offers a rustic and unique farm stay experience perfect for couples, families and business travelers. Enjoy the sounds of the birds as you sip a cocktail in the small splash pool, or relax in the beautiful lapa area with a good book. This self-catering accommodation truly provides the ideal escape from the city.
The guesthouse consists of one semi detached unit with one enclosed bedroom containing a double bed and 3 single beds in the open plan area. There are 2 bathrooms, one with a bath, toilet and washbasin, and the other with a shower. There is also a separate guest toilet with a wash basin. The unit can accommodate a maximum of 5 guests. The TV is only connected to a DVD player (no channels connected). A large selection of DVDs are available. There is a fridge with a freezer in the kitchen.
Note that the owners live on one side of the semi detached unit and share entrance gates for vehicles, however guests have their own access to the guesthouse unit. Guests also have access to a splash pool and braai area for private use. There is a bar fridge in the lapa.
We are located 2km from Black Horse Brewery and close to Mount Grace and Hornbill Lodge. There are many hiking trails within the area, as well as lovely restaurants to enjoy. The Lazy Lapa is great as a base to explore what the Magaliesburg and stunning surrounding area has to offer.

Magaliesburg Reviews
Magaliesberg is great to get close to local Joburg nature, relax and rejuvenate from daily stresses of city life and work.
It's is a beautiful place and a short travelling distance from Johannesburg or Pretoria.
The beauty and tranquillity of the area.
scenery peaceful quiet time to get away especially if you a couple n need a break from the hasel and busel
Mountains and Hikes are spectacular
Close, with quiet places to stay as well as the basic ammenities.
Beautiful magical, with so much to do.
Going to the upside-down house
Travel by day prevents being surprised by potholes, so pack in some patience when heading this way. Magaliesburg's Little Roadhouse had friendly service and fabulous slap chips. The Route 66 Events held at Mt Grace Hotel were most enjoyable. Looking forward to our next visit.
