Welcome to Kubu Metsi Safari Lodge,
Family owned, Self Catering Kubu Metsi Safari Lodge is the perfect escape to relax in the African bush. We are a short 35 min drive from Sun City or 2 hr drive from Lanseria Airport. Kubu Metsi is situated in the Big 5, Malaria free, Black Rhino Game Reserve and forms part of the 55 000 hectare Pilanesberg National Park.
The lodge was named Kubu Metsi (“Hippo in water” in the Sesotho language) by the owner’s grandson.

Exclusive Use Self Catering Lodge.
The perfect family and friends getaway, Kubu Metsi lodge is child friendly and encompasses 4 free standing en-suite luxury suites.
Kubu can accomodate 8 Adults (This excludes children under 10yrs old)
And 4 children under 10. Maximum capacity for Kubu Metsi is 12
Kubu Metsi now also boasts of a fully equipped gym and a separate office for working remotely, however this will only be opened in a few months time.
Game drives are included in your stay and conducted with a professional guide in your private 4 x 4 Safari Vehicle on the exclusive Black Rhino Game Reserve and the Pilanesberg National Park. Kubu Metsi is privileged to have traversing rights to the whole Pilanesberg National Park, as well as their restricted Wilderness Area, established for the protection of the endangered Black Rhino.
Note: A maximum of 10 guests allowed on the vehicle during game drives.

The most beautiful lodge experience when ever had in South Africa. Wonderful accommodation, great personnel,very nice and talented ranger. Kobus was very kind and concerned about our well-being. I would definitely recommend it!
