Self-catering, modern cottages in a historical building and national monument, situated in the beautiful Karoo town of Graaff-Reinet. Old world charm meets contemporary comfort.
These self check-in cottages offer private indoor and outdoor space and secure, off-street parking.
Secure lock boxes at each cottage contain your access keys.
River Bend is situated in a peaceful, established residential area, a 3 minute drive from restaurants and shops.
Cottage 1 offers an en-suite bedroom with twin beds, a tasteful lounge, a kitchenette and a covered front verandah on which to enjoy the silence of our Karoo evenings. There is off-street parking available, one minute's walk around the corner but still within the property.
Cottage 2 offers an en-suite bedroom with twin beds, a tasteful lounge, a fully-equipped kitchen and a patio area on which to braai. The sleeper couch in the lounge folds down into 2 single mattresses. There is secure off-street parking right at your cottage.
Cottage 3 is as per Cottage 1 above but the bed is king-sized.
Cottage 4 offers an en-suite bedroom with a king bed, an open-plan lounge, a fully-equipped kitchen and a patio area on which to braai. There are 2 sleeper couches in the lounge. One folds down into 2 single mattresses and the other is suitable for a small adult or child. There is secure off-street parking right at your cottage.

Graaff-Reinet is a town full of history with excellent hospitality.
Lovely old buildings, a fantastic coffee shop with lovely things to buy, a restful Karoo landscape.
Old homes and churches. The national park was great.
Lovely site seeing. Valley of de Desolation.
Not much to do. Maybe go walking.

How the people of Graaff-Reinet have made something good into a great Tourist town for everyone.
Such a wonderful place, steeped in historical and natural interest. Museums, National Park and nearby Owl House.
Picturesque town, Reinet House Museum is a great stop, dinner at Pioneers, Nieu Bethesda to see the Owl House is worth the drive.
