Porkys has been running for 17 years - we started with just two rooms and grew over the years to the 7 units we have today. We are always improving to make our guests stay as comfortable as possible. We are completely off-the-grid so you will still be able to use the Wi-Fi and watch TV even during load-shedding.

All 7 individually decorated, air-conditioned rooms have private entrances, en-suite bathrooms, TVs offering 6 satellite channels, as well as tea and coffee making facilities.

Area Information:

Gonubie beach not only has a wonderful boardwalk that provides fantastic views across the sea, but the river mouth provides hours of beachcombing, man-made tidal pools and abundant vegetation.

After your day at the beach, stop off at the local eatery or pub that welcome board short-wearing sun-lovers strolling in off the beach. Have a bite to eat and sip on your cool drinks while watching the sunset.

We offer self-catering, bed and breakfast, dinner bed and breakfast options - our breakfasts are made fresh when ordered, or you can opt for a packed breakfast or lunch.
