Nestled between striking rock faces and picturesque vineyards, 10 fully equipped boutique glamping tents welcome guests to recharge in a peaceful corner of the vast Cederberg, overlooking the Pakhuis Mountains in the distance.
The AfriCamps boutique glamping experience is perfect for families, couples, and close friends to get closer to nature while enjoying all of life's little luxuries. Our custom-made 55m2 tents are fully furnished and equipped for five guests with a private kitchen, lounge, en-suite bathroom (with private shower and toilet), two comfy bedrooms with extra-length queen-size beds, a fireplace, air-conditioning, and a wooden deck. The camp is dog-friendly, by prior arrangement.

In Room Facilities:Each AfriCamps tent consists of an outdoor wood-fired hot tub or splash pool, a spacious open plan lounge area with a comfortable couch, a dining area with a solid wooden table and seating for five guests, a fully-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms that comfortably sleeps five guests, and a bathroom complete with hot shower, flushing toilet, and washbasin.
Both bedrooms are furnished with an extra-length queen-size bed and have their own private entrance which allows maximum privacy. One of the bedrooms also contains a single bunk bed. Our tents are equipped with air-conditioning and an indoor fireplace. Enjoy a braai on our spacious wooden decks and take in the views from the comfortable deck loungers. Pull up the front covers and transform the tent into a large outdoor living area. Unwind and appreciate a festive family breakfast while taking in the serene natural beauty of the South African landscape.
Area Information:The Cederberg, spanning 71 000 hectares of mountainous terrain, is a fascinating Wilderness area steeped in history. Carved and sculpted by the elements over thousands of years, Cederberg’s ancient sandstone boulders are a sight to see. Adding to its rich history, some of the best-known San rock art in Southern Africa can be found here. Cederberg is also known as the ‘rooibos capital of the world,’ as it is the only place where rooibos grows naturally. This unique area hosts several interesting activities not to be missed during your stay.

The tent was well equipped and comfortable for 4 adults. We had a lovely walk to the waterfalls. The stargazing from the hot tub is spectacular.

What a wonderful escape to the Cedarberg. The tent is neat and clean and well kitted out. The hot tubs are a treat but it's probably worth paying to arrive to a hot one else you wait quite a while for your first hot soak!
What an amazing time, the venue is Fantastic, walks are great, relaxing vibe and friendly people. Only thing I would say is when the SE blows, the Braai area faces the wind direct and blows the coal and ash everywhere. Makes it a bit challenging to sit outside and enjoy. Other than that we had a fantastic time.
Absolutely stunning! Breathtaking views, and it was clean and quiet. The cabins are better equipped than expected. Amazing spot for star gazing!!!
Our party stayed at tent No:6 the Venue was awesome, well furnished, and comfortable, the views were spectacular. However, if staying for longer periods, be prepared to either bring a camping fridge or to purchase Ice for the cooler box since the fridge supplied is small. Cutlery was sufficient however another one or two bowls would elevate the possibilities for the foodies, only one available.
the Gas powered showers are a delight and the availability of an Inverter for the Load shedding periods a real bonus, Cellular service at the venue is completely non existent, the available, free Wi-Fi per cabin a very nice touch to stay connected to the family if this is a requirement.

Absolutely brilliant stay. If you ask for the supper braai baskets and the breakfast baskets make sure you are hungry. Awesome walk to the waterfall and even better swimming in it. Will be back soon
The tents are the usual nice and functional and also brandnew!. No activities are offered - shop has limited offer- despite being in remote area. No privacy amongst tents.
The tents were very neat and well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back
