Welcome to Draaihoek Lodge & Restaurant.
4 Star Thatched accommodation with fully licenced a-la carte restaurant, heated pool and boardwalk to 5km private beach. An ideal getaway to entice your senses and experience the West Coast while staying in absolute luxury.
Draaihoek Lodge offers accommodation in 8 luxury suites, each fronting the scenic strandveld and dunes of the Atlantic Ocean.
Furthermore we have the Manor House with its 3 luxuriously appointed bedrooms overlooking the vlei with its unique flora and bird life available. Each of the eight luxury suites has a king size bed with a private patio overlooking the Reserve and within walking distance of the beach with the sound of the ocean in the background. The luxurious Manor House boasts deluxe bedrooms, a spacious lounge area fitted with open fireplace and a sleek kitchen - all with access to a large wrap around stoep with exquisite views of the vlei and rugged dune landscape surrounding.

Stunning place with excellent service. Very friendly and helpful staff. Private beach for long walks. Springboks visiting every evening..
The weekend was pure bliss - the service top star and the food exquisite.
It was my lady's birthday and they pulled out all the stops - nothing was too much for the team on duty.
The only negative was the roads dept is working on several parts of the road on the way up instead of working one length of road at a time so you can could experience several frustrating stops on the way - no fault of Draaihoek - it is worth the hassles.
The beach is s short walk down a wooden path - it is really a worthwhile experience
You need to book early for the season if we want to be treated like royalty.

Draaihoek is a real treat for nature lovers. Pristine beaches and just the seals and birds for company...real soul food.
Net die plek om weg te kom van die alledaagse lewe! Rustig, netjies, en baie gerieflik! Mense is baie gasvry!

A luxurious and comfortable stay in a secluded setting with a friendly host and excellent breakfast.
We had a very pleasant stay, rooms were pristine and well equipped and the staff and management went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Draaihoek Lodge is a good base from which to explore all the little nooks and crannies of the West Coast and if you are as lucky as we were...to see the flowers in all their splendor.
Ek het 'n ruk terug my lewensmaat verloor en die tyd van die jaar soek ek om alleen te wees met gedagtes aan hom.Ek het op Google Earth so 'n alleenplekkie gekry.Die foto het gese, "sand see & solitude" by Draaihoek Lodge.So 'n mooi plek om die alleenheid & rustigheid wat jy soek te vind.Baie dankie aan almal daar wat die verblyf so gerieflik gemaak het, die lieflike disse wat die restaurant voorgesit het.Ek wens julle net die beste toe vir die toekoms.
