Nestled in the shadows of the famous Thaba-Bosiu Mountain, about 25 km from Maseru, lies Mmelesi Lodge, a modern hotel built in the traditional Basotho style. The complex is constructed in sandstone and the roofs are masterfully thatched.
Accommodation is offered in thatched rondavels and standard rooms, all neatly furnished and set behind the main building. Each rondavel and room has an en-suite bathroom, a tea and coffee station, heater, and electric blankets. Fans are available on request from reception.
The main building consists of a restaurant, a conference room and a bar. Guests can enjoy a cold drink at the well-stocked Qiloane Bar. The Mokhoro Restaurant serves an a la carte menu and buffets and is open to the public. We serve meals from breakfast, right through to dinner. Our creative and talented chefs ensure that you do not go hungry and promise only the freshest and high quality ingredients.
Mmelesi Lodge is known for hosting weddings and ceremonies of various kinds, and the â??Makuena Molapo Hall houses 130 people in a round table setup.
Since May 1992, when its doors were opened, Mmelesi Lodge has always strived to be the provider of the best service in the industry. It is our goal to ensure that all guests leave happy enough to come back for more of what we offer.

Mmelesi lodge.Basotho cultural village.Motolong dam
Have not been to Maseru.
The horse riding was the highlight of the event. The country could realy do with some tourism expo. its difficult to know where to go and for what events as there is little on the web.
Serenity. I recommend Thaba Bosiu Cultural scene.
