The property is nestled in Elephant Rock Eco Estate between major nature reserves including Balule and the well-known Greater Kruger National Park, alongside the majestic Olifants and Makhutswi Rivers. It is situated in the Limpopo province 30km outside Hoedspruit and 49km from the Phalaborwa gate at Kruger National Park. This is the ideal breakaway for nature lovers and guests can engage in various activities such as bird watching, fishing, mountain biking and hiking. The house is surrounded by big trees and wild game making it the ideal breakaway from city life. Guests can drive around themselves through the estate to see the free-roaming game and visit the beautiful picnic spot situated on the banks of the Olifants river under big old trees providing plenty of shadow.
Other attractions in the area include Moholoholo Animal Rehabilitation Centre, Kapama Cheetah Project, Khamai Reptile Park, Jessica the Hippo, Hot-air ballooning, Boat trips on the Blyde dam and River Rafting on the Blyde Rive. If you want to eat out, the well-known Three Bridges restaurant is just across the river with less than 5 minutes’ drive from the estate. They serve the most delicious food and cappuccinos.
Overlooking the bushveld, this modern farm style private holiday home comprises of 3 guest rooms each with their own mosquito net, ceiling fan and air conditioner. The main bedroom is furnished with a King size bed, ensuite bathroom fitted with a farm style bath, 2 basins, separate toilet, inside and outside shower. The 2nd and 3rd bedroom are furnished with a Queen size bed and shares a bathroom with a basin, separate toilet and walk-in shower. All windows and sliding doors are fitted with flyscreens. This self-catering house is fully furnished and fully equipped with a gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee- and tea-making facilities (incl. Stove top Kettle and Nespresso machine), dishwasher, crockery and cutlery. Linen and towels are supplied. It also features braai facilities, a pool, boma and covered parking. At Elephant Rock Eco Estate we have created an eco-friendly system that is kind to the surrounding environment. Biodegradable Earth-Conscious Cleaning Agents are used for cleaning to protect the environment and animals.

House Rules
Hoedspruit is a low-risk malaria area. Speak to your doctor about prophylactics before you travel.
Loud noise, loud music and parties are NOT allowed.
No smoking inside.
There is a strict speed limit of 30 km per hour at and around the estate.
No driving through the wilderness area between 10 pm and 5 am is allowed.
No open fires are allowed.
Guests must respect other guests, neighbours and all wild animals at all times.
Note that laundry washing facilities and equipment can be used as part of the self-catering house, and that once-off linen and towels will be provided for short stays. Should you require clean linen and ad hoc cleaning, please notify management in advance. This can be arranged.
Please dispose of sanitary ware in the bins provided and don’t flush any cotton buds, cotton wool, wet wipes or floss down the toilet as we make use of a Calcimite septic System.
Feeding of wild animals are NOT allowed. Animals become habituated and may have to be destroyed!
Please note that Elephant Rock Eco Estate is situated in an area where free-roaming wild animals are present.
There are occasionally Wild Dogs that move though the estate, so please be aware of that.

Very Important: Please take all lose items and personal belongings into the house, close all doors and windows when you leave the house, as the baboons are like curious children and love to play and remove items of interest. A fee will be charged for all lost and damaged items due to neglect and not adherence to this rule.

All guests are to adhere to the house rules and regulations at all times and that of Elephant Rock Eco Estate.
Fines will be implemented to guests who do not adhere to all rules.
The establishment states that no claims of whatsoever nature shall rise against the establishment, its owners, and all staff for any loss, theft, damage, injury or personal damage for any reason or matter. This also applies to Elephant Rock Eco Estate.
Every adult in your party must sign the indemnity on their own behalf, and if applicable, also on the behalf of their minor children for the holiday.

Price Exclude
* A once off cleaning fee of R450 is charged per booking. For bookings of 7 nights or more there is an additional cleaning fee of R450 per 7 nights stayed. This will include clean towels and linen.
* A R1000 refundable deposit is payable as a key deposit to incur costs as a result of any loss or damage to property, as a minimum. The deposit will be refunded to your account within 3 days after the day of departure.
